HANDBUILT

Brand, Site and Print bootcamp

A new brand, website and print for your church, done by January 1.

Many churches wish they had a better website. In five live Thursday sessions, you learn to work with AI agents by doing a real job: your church’s new website, with a new brand and print to match, and a way for your volunteers to keep it current.

For churches whose website is out of date, or depends on the one person who knows how to change it.

  • WHENThursdays, November 12 to December 17, 11 am to 12:30 pm Eastern. No session Thanksgiving week.
  • WHOOne seat is one church. Up to three people from your church who will find it useful, such as the pastor, the treasurer, the church administrator or a volunteer. The pastor doesn’t have to come.

What your church leaves with

Everything is approved by you before it goes anywhere. Printing itself is paid by your church, at whatever printer you already use.

  • A brand

A modern logo that scales to any size, a color palette, and a full brand and design system, approved by your church.

  • A website

Live on your church’s own domain, built from your church’s facts. Your email is never touched.

  • Your first church workflow

Your volunteers and staff update the site with an agent, from a phone, with a guide you wrote together. Your volunteer has already made the first live update.

  • A print set in the new brand

Print-ready PDFs you can send to any printer.

  • Business cards for up to three people
  • Letterhead
  • A bulletin cover template
  • A welcome card for visitors
  • One sign or banner file

Five Thursdays

The bootcamp teaches agent workflows, and your church’s brand and website are the real job you learn them on. Your church works in its own learning and working environment with Claude. Design feedback and review happen together, and Stephen is with you every step of the way.

Each session is 90 minutes, 11 am to 12:30 pm Eastern.

BEFORE YOU START

Put three short church meetings on your calendar:

  • Brand questionsbetween November 19 and December 3
  • Brand approvalbetween December 3 and December 10
  • Website approvalbetween December 10 and December 17
  1. Thursday, November 12

    Set up your working environment

Install the Handbuilt plugin, set up your local working environment, and learn to run it with Claude.

    HOMEWORK

    • Make sure it opens and runs on your own computer, in the right folder.
  2. Thursday, November 19

    Teach the agent your church

Work with the agent to gather your church’s facts and build its context, then turn how your church already presents itself online into a starting brand guide.

    HOMEWORK

    • Take the brand questions to your church at the meeting you scheduled: how do you want to show up in your community?
    • Gather every photo for the website in one place.
  3. Thursday, December 3

    Build your brand

From the direction your church approved: a modern, fresh logo that scales to any size, a color palette, and a full brand and design system, reviewed together.

    HOMEWORK

    • Take the brand package to your church for approval.
  4. Thursday, December 10

    Build your website

The agent builds your site from your design system. Design feedback and review happen together, on a phone and a laptop.

    HOMEWORK

    • Get your church’s approval for the website package.
  5. Thursday, December 17

    Launch and hand off

Go live, get your matching print set, and write your volunteer and staff guide for updating the site with an agent, from a phone.

    HOMEWORK

    • Your volunteer makes the first live update.

You finish with your first working church workflow: updating your site with an agent, from a phone.

A site that doesn’t go stale

Hosting is free through March 31, 2027. The monthly fee after that is set and offered before then.

  • Nothing goes live unreviewed

Your named reviewer approves every change before it reaches your site.

  • New volunteers get trained

If your volunteer moves on, the next one is trained on request while hosting is free.

  • Your email is never touched

Launch changes one record that points your web address at the new site.

  • You can always leave

If you move the site elsewhere, you get everything you need to take it with you.

Dioceses and synods: fund a seat

$299 gives one of your congregations without full-time clergy a finished brand, website and print set. A seat you fund doesn’t use one of the three sponsored seats.

Pay with the same checkout and email hello@gethandbuilt.com the congregation’s name. If your office needs an invoice instead, email us first.
